General COVID-19 Protocol:
At this time, NuSpine Chiropractic adheres and exceeds all current CDC and state-issued guidelines and mandates. This includes but not limited to:
All staff and patients must wear masks at all times when inside the clinic.
All staff and patients are to maintain social distancing of at least six feet when possible.
To maintain limited capacity, only one person per 100 square feet is allowed inside the clinic at any given time. This includes staff and patients.
Patients and companions are screened upon arrival. If a patient appears to display any of the potential symptoms of COVID-19 – such as a fever of 100.4, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, vomiting or diarrhea or new loss of taste or smell – they will not be allowed to enter the clinic and will be asked to reschedule their appointment for another day and time.
At this time, patients may have only one companion with them during the time of their intake and treatment. If patients arrive with more than one companion, they are asked to remain in the waiting room if there is capacity, otherwise they are asked to wait outside or in their vehicles.
Chiropractic and hydrotherapy tables are to be sanitized and cleaned between every patient. All paper on the headrests to be changed.
In the event a doctor or staff member is sick, a full call-in schedule is in place with multiple doctors and staff ready to fill in during their absence.
For staff who tests positive, they must quarantine for at least 10 days and have no symptoms for 48 hours before returning to work. In the case of a positive test by a staff members, all patients they have come into contact within the last 24 hours will be notified of possible exposure.
