Dr. Andrea Kurelowech

Dr. Andea Kurelowech's initial experience with chiropractic was as a patient. An Arizona native, Dr. K was a student-athlete with multiple sports injuries and she was unable to find relief with traditional medicine.

Everything changed when she saw a chiropractor who helped resolve her problems through a holistic approach for promoting her body's natural function and balance. The experience inspired her to help others achieve greater levels of health and wellness by becoming a chiropractor herself.

Dr. K utilizes both manual and light force adjusting techniques and works to correct both acute or chronic conditions. Dr. K works with all types of patients from infants to high school athletes, pregnant mothers, weekend warriors, and all those who refuse to give into old age.

When she isn't working as a chiropractor, Dr. K loves to be on the go with her husband and her two young boys. Her and her family can frequently be found hiking, camping, and chasing their two young boys or working on creative projects around the house.

NuSpine Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is the practice of using spinal alignment to alleviate a wide variety of physical ailments, including muscle strain, neck pain, chronic back pain, and more. This is accomplished by adjusting the position of the spinal column to its proper shape, providing a non-invasive solution for pain relief.

The History of Chiropractic Care

The word “Chiropractic” is derived from the Greek words “cheir” (hand) and “praktos” (done) combined to mean “done by hand.” It was chosen by the developer of chiropractic care, Daniel David Palmer. In 1895, D.D. Palmer performed a chiropractic adjustment on a partially deaf janitor, Harvey Lillard, who later reported that his hearing had improved due to the change.

D.D. Palmer opened the first chiropractic school two years later, and in the century since, chiropractic professionals have used spinal adjustments to help people prevent and cope with back pain, carpal tunnel, muscle strain, headaches and migraines, and a variety of other physical ailments. Millions of people benefit from the work of Dr. Palmer today.
